It will be a family affair with the Tri-City Americans over the next few years.

The WHL Bantam Draft was held this week where the Western Hockey League clubs select players for their 50 player lists -- players they hope by 16-17 years of age will be part of their WHL Club. The Americans went to L.A. to grab Goaltender Eric Comrie's younger brother Ty, who racked up 40 goals and 40 assists playing for the L.A. Selects Major Bantam team.

It will also be interesting as the younger brother of Spokane Chiefs defenseman Ty Wotherspoon, Parker, was the Americans' first overall pick. He was the 21st player taken in the first round. The Americans selected 11 players in the Bantam draft. For a complete breakdown of the American's draft, click here.
