TC Am’s VP Leaves to Join NBA’s Portland Trailblazers

Brian Sandy, the VP of Business Operations for the Tri City Americans, has stepped down.

Sandy, who has overseen the business side of one of the most successful WHL franchises since 2005, will be assuming the position of Director of Premium Seating Sales and Service for the NBA's Portland Trailblazers.  The new postion is effective Thursday Dec. 15th.   Sandy helped oversee the rise of the Americans to alltime highs for season tickets, attendance, and over 1.5 million in charitable donations since be began.   These are all 19 year franchise highs.  He was also a multiple nominee for the WHL awards honoring the Executive Of The Year  several times.
