Had he not dropped out of the GOP Presidential campaign, Cruz would have been attending a rally in Spokane Wednesday afternoon.

According to news released by Susan Hutchinson, the Chairman of the Washington State Republican Party:

"Our state is in the national spotlight as the May 24 GOP Presidential Primary approaches.

Presidential candidate Ted Cruz will address a rally in Spokane tomorrow, Wednesday May 4.  The event, to be held at the Spokane Convention Center, will begin at 3:00 pm (doors open at 2:00 pm)

And Cruz will also speak at a rally in Bothell at 10:00 am on Thursday May 5 at Cedar Park School (doors open at 9:00 am)."

A slew of similar events in other states in the coming week have also been suspended.
