Another reminder about NOT leaving your car unlocked while it's warming up. Even in the dead of the night.

Just after midnight Monday morning, Pasco police reported this car was stolen from the 2200 block of Pearl, apparently the driver had left it running to warm up.

However, less than 90 minutes later, Franklin County Sheriff's Deputy Scott Wright spotted the vehicle with two male juvenile occupants near 20th. and Court. They were pulled over and quickly apprehended. On 16-year-old was arrested for vehicle theft, the other one was released to custody of parents.

All Tri-City police remind people, unless you have a way to lock the vehicle while it's running, don't leave them unattended while warming up, even if you think you live in a 'safe' neighborhood.
