Ten Whackiest College Sanctioned Sports–Move Over Final Four! (VIDEO)

With March Madness having come and gone,  and not THAT far until the return of college football,  we present the first in a series of officially sanctioned college sports--but not ones you'll see on TV anytime soon.

#1  Underwater Hockey.   This is actually registered as a sport at ten colleges in the US, including the University Of Florida (appropriate-Gators!).   It involves competitors using scuba and a modified foot long hockey stick.  They also use a lead puck, so obviously it won't float away!    Notes from the recsports (recreation sports or non varsity) at the University of Florida indicates they are looking for more players who wish to join, especially ladies!  In case you wondered about uniforms, not a big expense!
