Whackiest College-Sanctioned Sports – Anyone For a Game Of Quidditch? (Yes, As In Harry Potter)

Before you start laughing, don't do it in front of the more than 300 quidditch clubs who regularly play the game worldwide -- and on U.S. college campuses.

Middlebury College participates in the sport, which is tailored exactly after the Harry Potter game -- except it's ground bound. Participants simply run around the field holding a broomstick between their legs, like a stock horse. Otherwise, the rules are the same as what you saw in the Harry Potter Movies. The Official International Quidditch Association recognizes and sanctions events between member clubs, and apparently Middlebury College is one of the 'best.'  The school is located in Vermont.
