Authorities are saying information "developed" that enabled them to serve three search warrants at two locations in Kennewick and one in Richland.

According to information released by Sgt. Ken Lattin of the Kennewick Police Department:

"On the morning of March 3, 2015, the Tri-City Regional SWAT team was activated to execute three search warrants.   Two were in Kennewick and one was in Richland. The locations were at 2105 N Steptoe, #30 and #114 in Kennewick, and at 1312 Dakota in Richland. Due to one burglary case in Richland recently that involved stolen firearms, the nature of the search warrants elevated the danger to the need for SWAT.
Recently both Kennewick and Richland have experienced an increase in residential burglaries and auto thefts. Information was developed that led investigators to believe that persons involved in these crimes and stolen property would be located at all three locations."

Lattin said the names of the suspects and additional details will be released, but the investigation is still ongoing.
