Tri-Cities Tire Store Manager Embezzled Thousands

A former employee of Commercial Tire in Kennewick and Pasco is in custody, accused of selling merchandise and pocketing the money.

25-year-old Cody W. Mason of Burbank was arrested after an investigation alleged he was selling merchandise from the store and pocketing the money. It was determined Mason, who prior to managing the Kennewick location at 9510 West Clearwater, also allegedly did the same thing while managing the Pasco store.

Dollar amounts were not released from the Pasco store, but police say the theft from the Kennewick store amounted to over $6,000. Kennewick police continue the investigation and are asking anyone with additional information to call Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at 586-TIPS.
