ROBBERY
Earlier this morning, (Saturday, 11/11) at 1:16 a.m, officers responded to an armed robbery at the downtown 7-11.

The suspected male, possibly Hispanic or Native American, entered the 7-11 with a concealed sawed off shotgun in his pants and threatened two clerks with it.

The suspect took the cash till, fled on foot, and ran out of the view of the camera behind 7-11. At this time, it is unsure if the suspect continued to run or was given a ride.

As you can see, owners of 7-11 have really good video surveillance and we were able to watch the incident unfold.

Officers have not been able to identify the suspect and were asking our community for help. We are stronger together.

If you recognize the male in the video, please call the Toppenish Police Department at 509-865-4355 or Sgt. Oscar Zapien at 509-314-1537. You can remain anonymous.
