Trader Bob Makes Another Move for Tri City Americans

He’s known as one of the most shrewd judges of talent in the WHL, and he’s at it again.
Tri City Americans GM Bob Tory has made another move to bolster the Tri City Americans roster, this time adding 19 year old defenseman Matt MacKenzie to the Americans roster. A 3rd round draft choice of the Buffalo Sabres (83rd Overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft. MacKenzie comes from the Calgary Hitmen, where he posted some impressive defensive numbers. In exchange, the Hitmen will get Americans Forward Brooks Macek, and Defenseman Spencer Humphries. MacKenzie is expected to make his Tri City Debut January 14th when the Americans take on Kamloops at the Toyota Center.
