Transgender Bathroom Week At Green River Community College

Students at this Auburn, WA, community college probably did a double take at the bathroom signs.

The widely recognized white outline figures on the restrooms at this liberal institution have been modified to appear to be half man, half woman as the school calls attention to the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender community.

The school is apparently officially sanctioning the event because some of the bathrooms were re-labled according to Green River's Director Of Student Services.  Fliers have been posted throughout the campus in Auburn, near Tacoma, explaining the signs and the event.  No mention in news reports of any reaction on or off campus.
