By mid weekend, the temps are supposed to warm up enough to minimize icy travel. But until then, drive carefully!

The Oregon State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies reported dozens of accidents all over Eastern Washington and Oregon after Wednesday night's freezing rain.  Temps are supposed to drop below freezing Thursday night and possibly Friday.

They will warm into mid 30's over weekend, with day temps in the low 40's, but take care if you even think roads are slick.

This picture was taken early Thursday on I-84.  An Oregon State Patrol vehicle was struck by another car while it was sitting on the shoulder. Fortunately,  the vehicle was unoccupied, as the trooper was helping investigate an accident involving the semis parked nearby.
