The Tri-City Americans announced today a change in goaltenders.18 year old Brendan Fiebelkorn has left the club for personal reasons, according to GM Bob Tory.  That leaves an immediate need to be filled, and 19 year old Luke Lee-Knight will rejoin the team immediately.

Lee-Knight, who was in the Americans training camp, will serve along with Eric Comrie, who has seen the bulk of the starts this season.  Lee-Knight played in 22 games in 2011-12 for Prince Albert and Spokane, going 2-4-2-1 with an 4.82 goals against average.

Fiebelkorn, who had won the other netminder job along with Comrie, made a successful start earlier this season and played in two games, including picking up the win Nov. 4 over Vancouver.  He previously played with the Prince Albert Raiders.

Lee-Knight will be with the team this weekend when they play a home-and-home series with the Kelowna Rockets.
