The Tri-City Americans will play the 10th annual Breast Cancer Awareness "Pink Ice" game at the Toyota Center on Feb. 14.

10 years ago the Americans began dyeing the ice pink and skating in pink-themed jerseys to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. That effort expanded to include the Tri-Cities Cancer Center.

The Americans will raffle off the game-worn jerseys, as well as other non-game-worn ones to the public, and a wide variety of auctions will line the Toyota Center concourse that Saturday night. To get details and tickets, call the Americans at (509)-736-0606. Along with Nuclear Night, it's become one of the most popular nights of the season.

Here's a look back at the first three jerseys worn by the team. The very first year, the ice was pink, but not the jerseys. The second edition was a standard jersey with pink accents. Here's a look back at 2009, 2010 and 2011.

We will take a look at more recent jerseys in upcoming installments leading up to the game.
