The Tri City Americans will soon begin their quest for the Memorial Cup, while the Jr. Americans will be going for the national title!

The Tri City Jr. Americans recently won the U-18 state hockey championship, so now they are off to Lansing Michigan for the national championships, starting March 28th.   They are part of the TCAHA, or Tri Cities Amateur Hockey Association, a non-profit group that provides opportunities for kids from ages as young as 5-6 years old to experience the sport of hockey.

A tremendous amount of work has been put in by these kids, and Newstalk wants to help them make it all the way.  Click here to make a donation to help the Jr. Americans, AND Saturday night March 17th at the Spokane season finale, there will be a special chuck-a-puck with proceeds helping the team.  GO Jr. Ams!
