Crashes, unfortunately, are not uncommon on highways across the country, including Washington and Oregon. But this one was quite different, considering the cargo of the vehicle.

Oregon State Troopers responded to a truck crash early Wednesday morning on Highway 58 near Oakridge, which is about 150 miles Southeast of Portland.

A semi-truck had careened of the road, trapping the driver inside for a short time. Kent R. Osgood of Texas, 43, didn't sustain any serious injuries, but the highway was closed for at least six hours.

Osgood and his passenger, 58-year-old Manual Rodriguez, here hauling a refrigerated box trailer full of over 30,000 pounds of frozen blood and plasma! It was being hauled by FFE Enterprizes. Officials were able to retrieve most of the frozen blood, and it was loaded onto another vehicle to head to it's destination.

Officials didn't say where the load was going to, but we are pretty sure vampires everywhere were wishing this would have happened on Halloween!
