According to Washington State Senator Don Benton, who is handling campaign affairs for Donald Trump in Washington State, The Donald will be in Vancouver this weekend.

In a move that's raised eyebrows in what is normally a liberal state, Oregon, Trump plans to hold a rally in Eugene at the Lane County Fairgrounds on Friday at 7pm.

Senator Benton told opb.com "there is going indeed to be a Donald Trump visit to Washington state on Saturday,"  and the GOP is scouting numerous locations.

Some are surprised Trump is visiting Oregon, because much like their neighbor to the North, the state almost always swings liberal largely due to the population density on the West side, especially Portland. However, poll data shows Trump could do well in the Pacific Northwest, because prior to Cruz and Kasich dropping out, he held a 17-point lead over his two competitors in the GOP race.

He is also said to attract the attention of moderate Democrats who are less worried about party affiliation, and more concerned with ineffective current leadership.
