Uber might return back to the city of Kennewick if a deal can be made between the travel company and the city after a year of negotiations. The hang up on an agreement is because of disagreement over the background checks of the drivers according to news reports. The city wants to do their own back ground checks and Uber wants the city to accept there own qualifications and background checks. The city wants drivers to pay a $125 fee which is the same price that Taxi cabs pay to work.
