UPDATE-Ranch And Home Thefts Suspects Identified

Thanks to some tips, investigative work and social media, Kennewick police now know the identity of the two juveniles who are accused of shoplifting from Ranch and Home in Kennewick.

Police say the two left the store Tuesday of this week with a number of items concealed in their clothing. Authorities didn't release their identities, but now say they know who they are.

It's likely they will be in custody soon. Police wanted to thank the community for the additional tips and information shared with them in the case. And, some credit goes to the incredibly clear digital security system in the store.

We've seen a few cases where businesses that had digital surveillance systems were able to capture remarkably clean and clear images of suspects, as opposed to the older grainy VHS tape security systems.
