Hansen Park, located on Columbia Center Blvd. between Clearwater and 10th, has been the site of recent vandalism.

Kennewick police say the last few mornings, city crews and visitors have reported vandalism. Not only have the toilets been clogged with paper, human waste smeared on the bathroom walls, three trees have been cut down, and trash cans overturned and their contents scattered around the park.

It's a bit unusual because it's one of the newer parks in town, and has not seen much of this kind of activity in the past.

Police urge anyone who sees any unusual activity, especially late at night in the park, to call (509)-628-0333. All information is confidential. Additional patrols are being added to the area.
