Vanderbilt Pitcher Proposes Moments After Team Wins College World Series [PHOTOS]

Vanderbilt made history by claiming the school’s first-ever NCAA championship in a men’s sport when it defeated Virginia on Wednesday to claim the College World Series.

But it’s what happened afterward that has people talking.

Commodores pitcher Brian Miller got down on bended knee and popped the question to his girlfriend on the field. She happily said yes. Miller, by the way, was drafted in the 15th round by the Tampa Bay Rays.

It must’ve been an excruciating night leading up to this for Miller. He didn’t pitch at all in the game, so you can bet he was even more on eggshells than the rest of his teammates.
