There's just over 106,000 registered voters in Benton County, but how many of them actually vote?

Regardless of your position on issues or political affiliation, we at Newstalk870 have always gone with the idea that if you're going to comment or complain about laws, policies or related societal issues, you need to vote.

It's your voice, your chance to express your opinion. But apparently a lot of people have not done that.

According to the latest records released by the Benton County election officials, about 23% of registered voters cast ballots in this election. That's pretty sad, considering even another 10-15 percent would have easily affected every race or ballot measure.
