Acting like petulant children instead of focusing on the task at hand, many of the 44 delegates from Washington state revolted on the opening day of the GOP Convention in Cleveland.

The vast majority of the delegates are strong Ted Cruz supporters, and they joined an effort on the opening day which not only would have taken some power away from GOP leaders, but would have also conducted a state by state roll call.

This roll call would have allowed delegates to unbind themselves from whomever they cast their support for, and instead support whichever candidate they choose-even if they're not on the official ticket.

It's part of a movement in the GOP to remove Trump and replace him with Cruz, or even John Kasich or another candidate. If you think the Kasich movement is dead, it's not. Newstalk 870 is still receiving emails from "Team Kasich." Rather than focus on the task of defeating the Hilary Clinton led Democratic ticket, these revolters were more bent on getting their way.

Kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face. However, the roll call and unbind movement failed.
