Tri City Americans Face Spokane In 2nd Round

After getting past the Vancouver Giants in the first round, the Tri-City Americans are pleased to announce their Western Conference Semi-Final schedule for the 2011 WHL Playoffs.

Tri-City will match-up with their long-time U.S. Division rivals, the Spokane Chiefs, in the second round, best-of-seven series.  It will be the first time the two clubs have met since their classic 2008 Conference Finals meeting, where the Chiefs advanced to the WHL Championship after winning the series 4 games to 3.

The series will kick-off at Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, starting with Game 1 on Saturday, April 9th.  Fans are encouraged to check the Americans’ website, www.amshockey.com, in the coming days for further playoff information.  Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 4th, through all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Toyota Center box office, all Fred Meyer outlets, or online at ticketmaster.com.
