Watch Video of Actual Car Prowl in Kennewick

Kennewick police have released video shot over the holiday weekend of an actual car prowl in the Canyon Lakes area of Kennewick. Video courtesy of Kennewick Police Department.

According to police, the footage was captured shortly before 4am on December 23rd.  Police say although the prowler broke out a window to access the vehicle, not leaving valuables in your car can prevent even more losses besides any damage to vehicle.

They say often prowlers will peer inside the car, and often, if they don't see any packages, bags or other items of interest, move on to the next target.

Authorities didn't say if they have a suspect.
