Weather Causing Treacherous Driving Conditions, Like This Kennewick Wreck

Tuesday around 11:15 am, Kennewick police responded to a blocking accident at 27th. and Ely in Kennewick, estimated at least 30 minutes before it would be cleared.

This one, involving a BMW and a truck, was one of at least six accidents KPD responded to already. Fortunately, no serious damage, and only minor injuries at worst.

Officers remind people not to drive unless necessary, and exercise extreme caution by allowing a LOT of extra travel time. And, if possible, make sure you've got a shovel and traction sand available.
