We already had our first snow fall on Stevens Pass but weather experts are saying we more likely will have an El Nino winter season.

The Climate Prediction Center has released their 2018 winter weather predictions and they are forecasting a El Nino winter for Washington and Oregon.

If you are not familiar with an El Nino winter, it generally means warmer and drier conditions for winter.

It seems like snow has started falling in the higher elevations but it could shift in December to warmer and drier conditions for us in the lower elevations.
