West Richland police have apprehended the suspect who held up the Kennedy Mart at Kennedy and Dallas Road Thursday night.

Around 10:13pm police were called to the mart after a witness saw a man in his 40's walk in to the store, went up to the counter to purchase some items, then demanded money from the clerk. After taking the money, he left in a dark colored SUV.

Benton County Sheriffs, West Richland police and other law enforcement agencies searched the area, and quickly located the suspect vehicle. 46-year-old Michael Senter was arrested near Mulberry Drive and Warbler Lane.

Senter was booked into the Benton County jail on charges of Robbery, Theft, Weapons Violations and Driving with a suspended license.
