Your Tri City Americans kick off the Conference Semi-Finals this weekend vs. the Spokane Chiefs.
The Americans won the season series 8-4, but Spokane did an impressive comback vs. Vancouver in the first round of the WHL playoffs. While the Am’s were duking it out with a very physical Everett team, Spokane rallied from a 2-0 defecit to win the series 4-2. The Ams swept the Silvertips. Tri City has lost defensemen Drydon Dow and Jessie Mychan to injuries, while Bendon Kitchton of Spokane (one of their best) also is out with significant injuries.
