Why Do Wanted Suspects Show Themselves in Public? Another One Nabbed

Kennewick police nabbed a wanted suspect, who was sought on multiple outstanding warrants, and it wasn't that hard.

Sunday, officers on patrol saw Joseph Duncan riding in the passenger seat of an SUV that was spotted near Kennewick Ave. and Fruitland.

The vehicle was quickly pulled over, and Duncan was apprehended, but not before he struggled and fought with officers. He was quickly subdued and is now in the Benton County jail.

No word on any charges or what happened to the driver. We're wondering (again!) why wanted suspects go riding around in plain view or show themselves in public. Apparently they think they're invisible and officers won't recognize them. Guess again!
