Perhaps the biggest question being asked today is why this man was acting to strangely.

Wednesday night, Pasco police received a call from a resident in the 4400 block of Galway Lane, which runs alongside Road 84 in northwest Pasco.

Around 9pm, the witness reported seeing a man ride a motorcycle into the caller's garage, but he didn't know who he was. The suspect, Christopher Murphy, left the scene when the man returned to see if he was still there.

Murphy then was seen in the 8700 block of Bell Street where he allegedly stole a truck. The owner followed him to the area of 48th. and Wernett streets, near Riverview Baptist Church. Murphy abandoned the truck and fled on foot, but police later found him hiding in a backyard shed of a nearby home.

He was arrested on auto theft and residential burglary charges, but police still don't know why he rode the motorcycle into the Galway Lane garage, then began his crime spree.
