Kennewick police were kept busy Wednesday night, chasing  down a car theft suspect who was charged with multiple felonies.

Officers received a report of a vehicle that was stolen from a Circle K. They located the vehicle, and chased it down from Union Street down to Garfield by Lampson Stadium. The suspect driver, who's name was not released, then hit a curb breaking the front suspension.

With the car inoperable, he fled on foot but was quickly caught. He's been booked into the Benton County jail on felony auto theft and eluding police charges.  Part of the arrest scene was witnessed by the spectators at Lampson Stadium, who were there watching the Kennewick Grid Kid Youth Football Superbowl games.
