I can't even get my mom to send me care packages, but one College Place woman is headed back to jail after her outgoing mail contained hard drugs. She was on out on bail, but she failed her drug test. She'll go on trial March 15, but it will likely be delayed.

The special deliveries included heroin packed into a book binding sent to an inmate in California. She also allegedly sent a package with drugs stowed away in a teddy bear.

Police found 4 ounces of heroin, 3 ounces of meth and a sawed-off shotgun in her home along with over $800 cash.

The heroin would have over 450 dosages for an addict, and its street value is estimated at $12,000 while the meth would be $5,000. That's a LOT of drugs.
