The dangers of driving drunk are greatly increased when you couple alcohol with slick roads, ice and snow.

Thursday night, shortly after 8pm, Kennewick Police responded to the area of 27th and Garfield, on a report of a white Mazda that had crashed.

Upon arrival they found (from witnesses) the car had been speeding erratically, came oh so close to hitting several vehicles. Then it slammed THROUGH a mailbox and then hit a retaining wall. The wall won.

The driver, identified as Lauri Quay, was found to be under the influence, and arrested for DUI. Fortunately, no injuries reported. But not only will she be in jail, but that car is headed to the scrapyard.  It looks like a stock car after a wreck.
