Amazingly, no one was injured in this crash that occurred after 12 noon in Kennewick today.

Kennewick Police and Washington State Patrol troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash southbound on Highway 395 just past the intersection with Yelm St.

Traffic was reduced to one lane while rescue workers tried with pry bars and a tow truck to get the Chevrolet pickup back onto the shoulder where it could be towed.   Just after the accident, the vehicle was actually 10-15 feet further up the bank, but slid down slightly.  It then sat perched across the guardrail while crews figured out how to extract it.

No other information was available except that no one was injured.   Authorities did not say how fast the vehicle was traveling or what led to it leaving the Highway.
