Two Suspects in Fatal Yakima Fight Were Previously Cellmates at Connell Prison

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Police say two men involved in a fatal fight in Yakima had been cellmates earlier this year at a prison in Connell. The Yakima Herald-Republic reports 21-year-old Gage Rogers is accused of killing 45-year-old Eric Taylor.

Woodland WA Residents Warned of Attempted Child Abductions

WOODLAND, Wash. (AP) — Police and schools in Woodland are warning parents of reports of an attempted child abduction. Police say two men in a large black SUV may have attempted to grab a child off the street. Students said similar incidents may have occurred in the past few days.
