16-Year-Old Hurt in Kennewick Shooting, Search on For Suspect

The search continues for the suspect(s) in a Tuesday evening Kennewick shooting.

Kennewick Police were called to the 400 block of South Conway Place around 7:26 PM.

WAS SHOOTING CLOSE TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AREA?

Although is occurred in the evening, the location is not far, just south of Westgate Elementary School on 4th.

Upon arrival, Officers located a 16-year-old who had been shot, but had not suffered any life-threatening wounds. Police didn't say if multiple shots were fired, but said the boy suffered a wound to his "lower extremities,"

Police say this was not a random act, the shooter and victim are believed to know each other. The shooting occurred outside in front of the home.
