30 Year Old Man Dies in Car Accident on Kellogg St. Kennewick

This morning about 3 AM officers and medics arrived at the scene of this single vehicle collision in the 2100 block of South Kellogg Street.

30 year old Kennewick man was not wearing a seatbelt officers say and died at the scene of this violent crash.The traffic unit is currently on scene investigating the cause. PLEASE AVOID THE AREA BY USING ALTERNATE ROUTES. Suggested routes include Union Street or Bob Olson Parkway.

UPDATE:  As of 7:10am, authorities said the area was clear. But no further information has been released. This image shows the general area where the crash occurred in South Kennewick.
