Few details were released about the actual crash, but early Monday morning Franklin County Deputies responded to this car vs. cow crash on Paradise Road near Connell.

We hear a lot about deer, an occasional coyote, skunks and dogs being hit by vehicles in our region, but rarely a cow.

Deputies didn't say what led up to the crash, which took place in the visibly challenged time just before sunrise, but luckily the driver only suffered a mix of cuts and bruises, despite the shocking damage.

Unfortunately, the cow did not survive. Deputies didn't specify but it's believed the vehicle was moving at a pretty decent rate of speed for it to be damaged this badly.
