And, the TOP Campground in Washington State is Where…?
Drum roll, please.
THE TOP CAMPGROUND IN WASHINGTON STATE IS ELKAMP EASTCREEK?
You will have to forgive me if I seem a little ignorant, but I have not heard of this place...but then again, we don't camp much.
Campspot.com is the leading marketplace in the U.S. for RV resorts, family campgrounds, cabins, glamping options, and more, according to their website.
They've just awarded their Top Campgrounds in the US awards, and one of them is in Washington state. It came in at #7 out of the top ten.
WHERE IS ELKAMP EASTCREEK?
Formerly known as Eastcreek Campground, it's a short distance from Seattle, and not far from the Nisqually Gate of Mt. Rainier National Park, about 15 minutes. It's near Mineral, WA.
The park's amenities include volleyball, horseshoes, showers, bathrooms, and garbage disposal.
Every site includes a picnic table and fire rings as well. Popularity, location, and amenities were among the biggest factors in choosing the winners.

Only one other Northwest site appeared on their award list, under the category of Top Campgrounds with Views, Oceanside RV Resort and Campground in Coos Bay, OR came in at #3 on that list.
