Another Drive By Shooting Suspect Nabbed, Search Continues

The shooting that occurred around 6pm Sunday in the 500 block of East 8th near Date Street is becoming bigger and bigger.

Police have apprehended three suspects now, after the arrest of Mitchell Talevera. The investigation has led to another suspect being sought. Besides Nickolas Melendez, another person is being searched for by police.

24-year-old Javier Valdez is the subject of a national alert on various gun and incident related charges. Melendez' whereabouts are unknown as is Valdez, hence the nationwide alert.

During the shooting, no one was hurt, but multiple homes and cars were hit by gunfire. The investigation continues.
