What began as a report of a domestic issue between a man and woman ended with the SWAT Team being deployed in Kennewick early Monday morning.

According to Lt. Jason Kiel, Public Information Officer for the Kennewick Police Department, around 3AM officers responded to 1107 West 5th Ave. for a report of a man and woman arguing. When Police arrived, the two were seen outside, but went back into an apartment.

Then a man left the unit, and told Officers there were four people inside being held at knifepoint. The man had visible injuries to his face. The SWAT Team was deployed, and shortly afterward 3 people left the residence.

However, one suspect refused to leave the building. After obtaining a search warrant, the SWAT Team entered the unit and took down the suspect.

Officers found out the three suspects were detaining and threatening harm to the two victims from a previous incident.

According to Lt. Kiel, the following persons are now in custody:

"Sandy Trujillo (25), Charles Islas (20), and Guadalupe Sanchez (30) were booked into the Benton County Jail for Unlawful Imprisonment and Felony Harassment. Trujillo was also booked on five warrants and Islas on three warrants. Anthony Davis (30), who was also in the apartment at the time of the incident, was booked on two warrants."
