I am super bummed one of my favorite wine bars and not to mention restaurant is now closed permanently. Gordon Estate Wine Bar and Restaurant in Pasco announced the closure on their Facebook Page here's what it said:

To our valued customers, friends, and guests we've grown to call family, it's with a heavy heart that I inform you that this Saturday, the 15th of July will be our last day serving you at Gordon Estate Restaurant & Wine Bar.

We had a good run, almost 5 years in business at this location. First, as a tasting room, then slowly transitioning into one of the highest rated eateries in the Tri-Cities area. I personally enjoyed working with the Gordon family, first as a server, then, their Wine Bar Manager, and finally taking on the "big chair" back in January of this year.

I'm personally eternally grateful for the support we've seen from our regulars over the last 3 years, and it's been a delight seeing new customers come in, bands play, and parties happen. Unfortunately, in our current location the "new/walk-in business" just wasn't enough to keep the employees paid and the lights on (at least not at the same time).

I'll take this moment to extend a special thank you to my INCREDIBLY loyal staff. You all worked hard to make this place the best and I'm eternally grateful. Without you all, we would not have made it as far as we have. Thank you.

I'd like to invite all of you (yes, you!) to join us over the next few days to come enjoy a meal, share a bottle of amazing wine, and chat with your favorite server about all the good times we've had.

Food and drink specials will be dynamic and in effect all week/end and we encourage you to come use any gift cards you may have. Gift cards left outstanding after this Saturday, will graciously be accepted at the winery to purchase your favorite wines.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you all. On behalf of myself, the entire staff here at the restaurant and the Gordon family, we wish you farewell and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patronage and support.
-Stephen James Hartley
Owner & General Manager
P.S. - Don't worry, the Gordons & the Nelsons will still be busy growing grapes and making wine, which you can purchase direct from the winery, at your favorite local retailer, or even on Amazon. Be sure to follow the Gordon Estate Winery facebook page and @gordonwines on Twitter to stay updated!
