Burglars Hit Numerous Cars at Apartment Complex, Pot Stolen

Kennewick police are investigating a window smashing and car theft spree that occurred late Tuesday night at a Kennewick apartment complex.

Police say numerous cars were broken into at the Kent Manor Apartments near 5th and Kent. The car prowlers got into most of them by smashing in windows.  Various items were stolen, and police learned pot was taken from one of the vehicles.

Police (again!) remind people to keep valuables out of vehicles, or if you have to keep something of value in your car, make sure it's not visible to anyone peering into the windows.
