Chicago White Sox to Sell 3-Pound Sundae in Hopes of Killing Their Fans
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack...and a three-pound ice cream sundae.
The Chicago White Sox, who are not expected to make much noise in the playoff race this year, will make a lot of noise in the culinary field this season. The team has announced it will sell a three-pound, 12-scoop ice cream sundae that will only set you back $17.
Lost in the hullabaloo is the fact the Sox will also offer fans bacon on a stick, in what can only be considered a ploy to make fans sick to their stomachs while they get sick to the their stomachs watching the team play.
Not to be outdone, the Texas Rangers will also sell the bacon treat, in addition to frozen beer. Forget about catching a foul ball -- you have a better chance of catching heart disease at this stadium.
