With a number of city council seats up for grabs this August and November, Pasco and Kennewick are setting up events to allow citizens to meet and ask questions to perspective and current council candidates.

Kennewick will be having a public forum Monday May 17th at  6:30 at the Kennewick Library on South Union Street, just south of 10th.

Pasco will be having a similar event July 19th 6:30pm at the Pasco Police training center at 204 West Clark.

The public is encouraged to attend. Kennewick will be having a busy election season, 9 candidates are seeking to fill two seats.

The top two vote getters for each position in the August primary will square off on the ballot in November.
