Cops Seeking Info on Alleged Drug ‘Gathering’ at Convenience Store

Kennewick police continue to investigate what they believe was possible drug activity earlier this week at the 7-11 on Clearwater near the intersection of Clearwater and Morain.

Around 11:15pm on Thursday, detectives noticed a gathering of vehicles in the 7-11 parking log, they seemed to be surrounding a possibly silver Honda sedan.

When officers swung around on Clearwater to get a better look at the Honda plate, the other cars scattered in numerous directions. The Honda was also fled at a high rate of speed. Officers were not able to determine exactly which side street it took, and terminated any pursuit. Based upon information and the type of activity, police believe drugs were involved.
