Customers, Victim Chase Pasco Robber and His Toy Gun Away From Store
Pasco Police are searching for the suspect, but he might be too embarrassed to show himself now.
WOULD-BE ROBBER TRIED TO USE TOY GUN
Monday night, around 8:45 PM a man sitting (presumably in a vehicle) at the Circle K near Road 100 and Broadmoor Boulevard when the suspect approached him.
The light-skinned male said to be wearing a white baseball cap and black jacket approached the victim, pointed to what appeared to be a black 'automatic' weapon then demanded he get out of the car.
Police are seen below interviewing the victim, whose face has been blurred for security and privacy.
However, the victim would have none of that.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
Apparently, the man saw an opportunity to resist, and during the struggle, it became apparent the would-be robber's gun was a plastic AirSoft rifle.
Seeing and hearing the commotion, other customers came running to the victim's aid, and the suspect turned tail and fled across Chapel Hill Boulevard.
No word if he left his 'weapon' behind, but anyone who may have information about this incident, you're urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.
Just because it was a toy gun doesn't mean there's not a lot of charge Pasco PD would like to levy against this suspect.
