Did You Know Shari’s Cafe and Pies Originated in Hermiston Oregon?

A Pacific Northwest favorite for Pie and good old fashioned american food standards started in Hermiston Oregon.... Shari's Cafe and Pies...WOW I had no idea.

Shari's opened its 1st restaurant in Hermiston Oregon in 1978 and was the 1st 24 hour restaurant in the area at the time. Family dining at an affordable price not to mention the PIES of course it was destined to be a hit!

According to Shari's web site the chain now has:

 95 locations in six northwestern states, Shari’s Cafes is the largest family-style chain in the region, with over 4,000 happy employees, and a lot more satisfied customers.

 

Our unique six-sided building design gives most of our guests a window seat, as well as facilitating fast service.

Shari’s has 95 locations across OR, WA, ID, CA, WY and NE ready to serve you.

In a year, each Shari’s Restaurant pours over 50,000 cups of Arosta Coffee.

We crack over 4,000 dozen eggs annually.

We grill over a mile of sausage links and toast nearly 50,000 slices of bread every year.

In a week, each Shari’s Restaurant grills over 200 lbs. of beef and 100 lbs. of poultry.

On a typical day, each Shari’s Restaurant bakes 25 homemade pies.
