Doesn't matter if the kid had the old finger in the jacket fake gun ploy. The most troubling aspect of this incident is that he was only 15-years old.

Tuesday, Kennewick police tracked a juvenile robbery suspect after he tried to hold up the Union Street Mini Mart (Formerly Mr. E's) at the corner of 4th and Union around 4pm.

Officials say the boy came in, demanded the money from the register, trying to indicate he had a gun in his pocket. But the clever clerk began to ask questions and apparently the boy became frustrated. He fled the scene, but not before the clerk got an excellent description of him, as well as on security cameras.

So much so that a short time later he was apprehended by police not far away.  He's been reprimanded to juvenile authorities and will face robbery charges.
